You said exactly what I said.........After they bought them out meaning newer ones "as I said" would be mopar, I stated cj was MADE by amc, Not mopar, there wasnt a year cj was made by mopar.... please before you argue check your self

@f44life depends on the year, i was able to bolt up a 318 in place of my inline six in a 87 because of the TF999 transmission in it.

Also to go with what radiproductions is saying, the first 2 years of the YJ aka wrangler were built by amc. I think mopar took over in 89?

The stock 360 isn't half as good as my chevy 305 thats been built. i don't really like the older jeep motors , they were tempermetal even after a easy breakin
