Primitive method for using a counting system and a sundial to create a yearly calendar

Two errors here.
1. The duration between equinoxes and solstices ( 4 cases ) are all not equal.
2. The shadow length for equinox is not half between solstices.
It's much easier to detemine the equinox by the day the sun rises in the east, or when shadows trace out an exact straight line.
