I'm pretty sure this is why I hated history in school. Now I'm fascinated with it - but it's the story and the why, not the dates and charts. I actually had the chance to talk to older Germans that lived through WWII while stationed over there - the stories we heard in school were not accurate. It all happened much like we're seeing things happen in America today. They were duped by Hitler, and when they woke up it was too late. America needs to wake up before it's too late.

Sorry, if I disagree, but I have but two years Jr. College. That I paid for while working three jobs. Guess it's my Asian blood, but I am no stranger to working HARD. Even with my limited formal education, I STILL get employers who tell me "You seem more knowledgeable, and well spoken than the whole room of other, more qualified people in there." So you can feel free to cry the "woe is US," mantra. While idiots like myself, through sheer indomitably pass you by ... I'm done here. Good Luck

Yes they do, they teach them to "obey authority", to "do what you are told" cause "I said so". This is all that is needed. See the Milgram Experiment, Stanford Prison Exp.

The whole point is to avoid outside influences, which is exactly what you are doing by commanding people to "take action yourself, be a leader, etc etc". This video and author more closely represents anti-authoritarianism and authority in general, your thoughts more closely resembles the control-freak mentality which is exactly being dismantled in these videos.
