While Cod fishing near Burnside, Bonavista Bay, a school of Dolphins swam around our boat and put on a show for us. More common in tropical waters, but a rarity in our province.

  • Just another reason to want to go visit Newfoundland :)

  • Not a rarity, White-beaked dolphins are common in the waters around Newfoundland and Labrador. White-sided dolphins are also often seen in groups of fifty or sixty, and Common dolphins are regularly sighted.

  • nar state of jumpers.. lol.. as we would call em.. I've seen em far off but not up close like that.. awesome!!

  • Very cool. I've seen em in Florida up close but not in Newfoundland!!
