This is the first full-length short film shot for "THE MONSTER LP". It was filmed in the North Stacks of Memorial Library at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where Rafael both attends and teaches as Creative Director of the First HipHop Theater and performing Arts program in the country, FIRST WAVE (www.omai.wisc.edu). The Cast are all this Freshman and Sophomore students, who also make amazing music, theater, spoken word, dance, etc. etc. which we try to showcase here at THE GETBLOG as often as possible! @liljc17c this guy. his rap is poetic, tupac is the person i know who did it best, eminem, listen to REAL rap and its poetry, rap uses similies and metaphores, figures of speach to tell a story. most people today lack the "to tell a story" part. but rap is poetry... i should say REAL rap is poetry...

@36dprince Please point me to any rap that is truly poetic. o.O Hell, what most people label as Hip-Hop isn't even Hip-Hop, much less poetic. Very few true Hip-Hop artists around.
