Nooo, the teens is the latest you should start if you want to do ballet as a career. Even late teens is fine, but if you are doing it recreationally (just for fun) no age is too old. I went to ballet for ten years but I quit, don't get me wrong it was an amzing experience, but very very very hard work, and slow progress. You need to fight for it, just do it you'll love it!
