  • The joint image of the two flags was created by UW students to symbolize friendship between the two countries - an attempt to symbolically bridge social, ethnic, religious boundaries. It is not our intention to denigrate or dishonor the national flags.

  • We honor and respect the independent existence of both countries as well as the hardships faced by people before and since Partition on both sides of border. With the failure of our govts to promote any real understanding between the people, our only solution at moving forward is by promoting people-to-people dialogue. This is the aim of SAF-M.
