Wow...I Left toledo ..to hide in nyc on national tv, center court madison square garden via stage of a subway platform.I paid 95 percent of backchild support when i got it and struggle daily to stay current.Ihave missed moments with my kids i can never get back to prepare for moments that would not be possible in ohio.Where i could not take care of myself let alone them...the financial was the easy part..the hard part only me a my children can resolve.enjoy your 15min of anonomous fame..gibran

I'm mad as you don't know what you are talking about. You don't know how much this man has accomplished in the time he has been gone. I have followed everything he has done closely. He's a man who knows his fatherhood and who left to make a life better for his children. Not everything comes when you clap your hands. You have to fight hard and the struggle can be long. Theres a reason for what he does and it all revolves his children. Trust me I know.

Let's be clear-I'm not bored, I'm pissed. Go talk to kids whose fathers are no shows. It's no joke.Why are u mad at me? I'm not selfish. I raise my kids with my dreams on hold. I pay for their needs. Sometimes adults have to accept certain things, and Gibran needs to accept that fatherhood means showing up for his KID's dreams, not his own. He doesn't get a pass because he owns a guitar. What's wrong with you? This isn't personal. Yes, I'm a hater -of fools and deadbeats. gibran is both.

...not enough anger that is when it comes to people standing up and shouting "NO MORE" to the 'gibrans-with-no-soul of the world who abandon the kids they bring into the world. To S.B.R. - ask some (fe)male friends who are fighting for child support how the deadbeat gibrans ruin their babies' lives...maybe then you will at least stop labeling this national crisis as "private". It's a crime to have kids and not feed them, and soul-less to abandon them. Gibran is no star. He's a fool.

I wonder if the mother of his perhaps hungry children has a dream SHE'D like to pursue, but darn she has those pesky kids to wake up and tend to EVERY SINGLE DAY. And let's redefine anger, shall we?  Anger is the national problem of gibrans who avoid child support. Anger is the millions of children in single parent homes. There's nothing PRIVATE about that. THE PROBLEM IS, THERE ISN'T ENOUGH ANGER.
