i really like travis... but i think ilan is a better drummer

A-FUCKING-MEN!!! lol
ilan's one of the few drummers out there to hit hard when he plays but do it with style and play some bloody good grooves. travis just does single stroke rolls really fast round his kit.

Great drummer, he's about 16 here, already a really good drummer.
Love the way he is not afraid of being powerful like many drummer.

I think the people who think travis barker is overrated don't really know a hell of alot about him. They know him from when blink 182 got larger than life and not his more skilled side. from about 2005 on he toned his drumming down alot. he got really robotic and quit all of really creativeness... for the most part. But what people don't know was that from up to blinks 2nd album with travis, he was off the chain. then he toned it down.

That tom sounds sweet
It's all a matter of preference man. The 5000 is considerably cheaper, although the 9000 have alot more adjustability and features. If I had too choose between the two, I'd go for the 9000 (for obvious reasons) it can do pretty much everything the 5000 can, and then some. But if you're looking to save a couple dollars, then I'd say go ahead and pick up the 5000!! Both are fantastic pedals either way. =]
