The Francis Marion Memorial Project was conceived by John F. McCabe during a trip to Washington, DC in June of 2005. Francis Marion, otherwise known as "The Swamp Fox," made tremendous contributions in the struggle for America's Independence from Great Britain during the American Revolution.
This project has successfully obtained Congressional authorization to establish a memorial honoring Brigadier General Francis Marion in Washington, D.C. Be a part of history in the making. Join Marion's Modern Day Brigade today by contributing to the project.
