SAP's R&D branch in Israel is the German software company's fourth international research site. SAP Lab's headquarters are in Tel Aviv - in the heart of the region known as Silicon Wadi or Silicon Coast.

And this is the promised land for many high-tech enterprises. Know-how, innovative power and creativity are the breeding ground for one of the fastest growing technology sites in the world. SAP began investing in Israel in the late 1990s, buying up a number of successful young software firms. So far, SAP has investments of half a billion dollars and 850 employees in Israel.
