  • I can't get over how great that Mullen sounds, I wish my guitar would sound like that! That thing sustains forever! Something seems different, your top strings sound a lot fatter than in your older videos, have you added something recently?

  • Ive changed amplification yes...Ive also removed the brass rollers and replaced them with gauged aluminum ones that create a perfectly flat surface across the fretboard. Numerous pickups have been in and out of the guitar as well, but the stock Mullen is in My S-12, and George L E66's are in my D-12

  • I'm just amazed at this I have to tell you again, and ask- How long did it take you to knock it out? and... Is the highest note a "blue"note 3rd, flatted 3rd, I only ask because you know,I hope?I'm not worthy but I'm having fun!

  • @bobmon54 In all honesty I have to say...it took me about 3minutes...LOL.

The highest note falls on the Emaj, 1 chord, and is a Sus4..

  • I hope you got a great deal of enjoyment doing that transposure- I really could relate to both instruments when you did that, I immediately thought- You could show off and your friends will think you" studly man" Then I remember you just did all the heavy lifting- so take a bow Mickey- Mighty Fine Mighty Fine! Please send me your email we need to get the book purchase done. While I still have a house!

  • @Lawdawgie026 Correct!

  • thxs a loy mickey i learn a lot from you videos. Could you tell me what are your picks and your bar ? I'm living in france and it's hard to get some good infos on good products... And if one day you can consider teaching Lloyd Green playing Byrds You ain'y going nowhere, that would be awsome

  • Great lesson - are you in a tempered tuning? The pedal steel sounds really sweet.

  • Wow, what a work out! brain & hands, thanks! Don't know why but the two index and middle fingers on the bar hand are really cramped; I think I'm gripping too hard or pushing down too much, cause I can't seem to get that really cool, easy, ring of the strings, you get hitting those high notes on upper fret... ughh

  • Love it! Can't wait to give it a try! Thanks.

  • Thanks Mick!

  • Bernie Leadon was playing what was called at the time a "shoulder strap second string bender" which is now commonly known as a B-bender. Watch liverpooljim7's video of Eagles playing this and you'll see Bernie in action.

  • awesome
