This video is part of Kitchen Gardeners International's "Eat the View!" campaign to convert part of the White House lawn into an edible landscape. It features KGI founder, Roger Doiron, digging a new garden on his "white house" lawn with a request to President -elect Obama to do the same with his which is actually ours anyway.
Can we dig this garden? Yes, we can!

Great video. Michelle actually tried to have a garden and they tested the soil and found that the Clinton regime had worked tons of sewer sludge into the soil, no joke.

I love the message. We are doing our part, this is our second year to garden. We are telling others to do the same.
We are also looking into rainwater harvesting for our garden.

What a brilliant family project! Both the garden and the video. As I sat watching this in my little apartment in Rome, I longed to have a yard and a garden again! Maybe I'll make a container garden on my little balcony this Spring. Great job, great message, great example.
