FAQ
Q: XDEP doesn't find my map but I named it YourMap.w3x
A: Your OS hides the extensions from you. Try naming your map to YourMap
Q: I deprotected the map like you did in the video but when I save it I can't play it anymore
A: It's not possible to save maps with that method of deprotecting, if you wanna make changes to a map then there are some other tutorials here on youtube

i tried to deprotect a dota map. but when i tried to open it on world editor, it says that waterfall_blue.mdl is missing. I actually used the newgen WE

Hi, I've successfully opened a map, Eve of the Apocalypse Twilight 1.14a7. However, when I look at the units and abilities, there are no custom units or abilities and I found only one JASS trigger. Did I do something wrong? lol

So obviously this doesnt work on .w3m extensions, but how could I convert these to .w3x? I searched for coverters (with no luck), and it isnt like I could use the editor lol. Any Ideas?

@Sherman288 of course it works with them o.o I found a new way of protection btw, it adds docstrings and some other stuff to the mpq and makes it unopeneable for most mpq viewers.
