This is a recording done in 1994 at Woodstock's museum, Ontario, Canada, where Mr. Edwin Bennett tells the story of repatriating the remains of the Klondike's King, Joseph Whiteside Boyle, to Canada in 1983.
It was produced by Romanian Cultural Society MIORITA of Ontario, Canada.

  • @rody502004 Hi do you know anything about his family that might still live in romania im his great great grandson, thanks from New york.

  • I'm his great great grandson!!!! anybody know any info about him or where I can find some more

  • Sad to report that Eddie died yesterday, Remembrance Day, November 11, 2010.

  • The fellow in the video is my great uncle Eddie. He has done many wonderful things in his life, from fighting at Dieppe in WWII to working to save the old Woodstock Gaol on the Historical Society and working so diligently on the repatriation of Joe Boyle. He's a great man and still live. He's 96 years old.

  • Asta e o parte mai putin cunoscuta din istoria Romaniei si a Canadei care imi se pare foarte interesanta. As vrea sa stiu mai mult.

    Well done!
