who cares about pro's or w/e its just important to have fun, and go out and skate.
don't need to know how to 360 flip to be cool, no way jose!
there's still spontaneously awesome skaters out there :)
but none like John cardiel, tony trujilio, and the gonz <3
louie barletta is a perfect example, he just does whatever kind of skating that makes him happy =) <3

the only good thing to come from the latest rise in skateboard little league is all the free concrete parks that are sprouting up... but they are all starting to look the same. but I agree the "fashion model" skaters need to go! they're like robots that can kickflip front lip on demand!

@hippywolf true man, but I still would stay that skating today still got a style, just different...I would say more "clean", not necessery better... I love the oldschool rought, hardcore style...like Mike Vallely still is keeping unto..

i remeber being a poor skater back in the 80's i would get all jealous of the rich white kids and theyre vision street wear gear. thank god i couldnt afford it. big ass 501's a pair of chucks and a old bad brains t shirt is all you need.
