English Longbow - 6 arrows

Time test to see how long it would take me to shoot 6 arrows from my 40 pound English Longbow. Turns out, about 33 seconds for 6, which is well in the historical range of 12 arrows per minute.

I would say Italian Yew FAR exceeds the quality of English yew, but i couldn't say where to find that. i cut English yew myself from an orchard literally about 100 meters from my house, but that then requires time to settle and partially dry, then require heat treatment etc etc, im sure you could buy English you in any DIY shop and skip the long waits though.

haha! i love the fact that someone called 'azzloverbuttpincher' called this gay.... also, the historical range of 12 per min is as said below.. for a 135lb Warbow, not a 40lb bow, i have a 150lb Italian Yew Warbow which i made myself and can fire 10 per min, that thing is a beast!
