  • Renata Scotto has enough breath capacity to sing it slower, it's evident that she "feels" this song this way..why do you people always have a negative thing to say about everything? WHY?

  • Qué gran artista!!!

  • @micioamilano Bravo Micio!

  • Bel Canto at its best,,,

  • Oooooooooo Renata!

  • Touching Scotto, a moving testimonony of her art, the breath is sustaining and articulating the aria ! What a beautiful " bel canto ", and so close to the spirit of Bellini !

  • Renata Scotto? No breath capacity? LOLOL

You should listen to her 'Caro nome' from Rigoletto, under Rafael Kubelik... You'll see what is breathing capacity. ;)

  • Yeah, in fact, it should be played slower but it requires long breathes...and the lady singing doesn't seem to have the breathe capacity I guess. Or maybe bad pianist.

  • Literal Translation:

Lovely moon, silvering these shores and these flowers, and inspiring the elements of the language of love,

Sat to her that, far away, I cannot tell her my sorrow, that if I nourish a hope she is my only future.

    > Beautiful piece!

  • Is this song happy? The words sugest a slower more wistful performance!!!But maybe I am wrong!!
