PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION to let us keep our choice of format on our Channels. YouTube is doing this now. They can continue. Please honor the BLACKOUT on March 7 & 8 and DON'T tune in to YouTube! Thank you. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/cosmicpanda/?utm_mediu......

These two sat down and recorded this album in one sitting in Darrell's house. There was no over dubbing...just good pickin' and singing. What an album! Many of the songs are written by the two, but a few old standards are scattered around. "Long Time Gone" is from this incredible album, "Real Time" released in 2000. Enjoy!!!

  • Dixie Chicks! Great!

  • @qdys73 Hope you like Dixie Chicks...don't know if that was with a smile or not. Thanks so much for leaving a comment. I enjoy all comments left! They do lots of different styles though. "Keep Your Lamp Trimmed & Burning" reminds me a bit of Hot Tuna...plus they do have their own original style! Thanks for listening & glad you found them. My best to you, Moppet

  • First heard this on the CD that accompanied Australian author Tim Winton's novel Dirt Music - brilliant track (and CD). Thanks so much for uploading.

  • @rooterrier Hello. I missed your comment somehow & wanted you to know that I appreciated it that you said "hello" and left a message. I am going to google Dirt Music & check it out. Thanks for the info. Sounds interesting. This is the 2nd novel w/soundtrack that I've heard of in the past few days. Take care & visit anytime. My best, Moppet

  • Great tune and superb CD, but it was released in 2000, not 2005.

  • @editorjuno Hi! Thank you for your info. I was going by my liner note and those of the sites selling the cd also. Everyone had 2005. Often I will back track to find an earlier date (like when my cd or lp has the earlier date), but I got dead ended at 2005. I did find a review on May 12, 2000, so I know you are correct. The 2005 must be a re-issue date. I will update my info and do appreciate your help. Stop by for a listen whenever you wish! My best, Moppet (Barbara)
