  • I love this song, but why do this?

  • Hello signup. Why not?

  • damn you play all the best songs!

i wish you played the original solo though just cuz its great.

  • Thanks man. I could try playing the original solo but would never be able to play it as well as Lee Morgan. Besides if you want to hear the original you can simply buy the CD :).

  • I disagree,. keep the Echo and ditch the reverb. Excellent playing otherwise Ed and I love the visual technique used to show your flugel. You are an excellent player. Thanks to my good friend Johnflugelhorn for recomending you.

  • Regarding reverb/echo - to each his own. I guess it sounds different depending on the quality of computer speakers. On my main machine I listen using cheap speakers that are built in to my monitor. I really need to invest in a better set. :)

  • Echo is very distracting, muddies the sound.

  • Slight mashing of chords. I've tried playing this and it's not easy. For a star performancve see Damon Brown playing this on youtube

  • @jfxcoll I think you mean "two" much echo or maybe it's "too" much echo, either way YES YES YES way too much!
