Alaskan Malamute Howling, Crying, Talking

Rajah, our Malamute, does NOT like it when I go for a run without her. She knows that I'm leaving and not taking the car, therefore I'm taking a walk......without her!! This just cannot be, she MUST be with me whenever I go for a "walk." This is how she acts when I leave for a run.

@bluemu taking a dog for a walk/run in the rain is not fun, especially when the dog is a malamute with so much hair. any other time she comes with me.

Just about all dogs have seperation anxiety.

my dog (golden retriver) would stand at the gate, staring at us, ears up, and have this pleading look in his eye and when we didn't take him on a walk, he'd turn around, sometimes with his head down. he sometimes barked his "I'm lonly" bark if (it seemed) he was alone eg, when it was just one of us in the house, upstairs.
