  • @jozita it wasn't brutus's idea. it was Cassius. Cassius just made Brutus the frontman of the conspiracy.

  • keep in mind that the point of the senate was to prevent a permanent king/dictator. They could grant the title of dictator to someone (and they did for Caesar) but that position was limited to 10 years, with no heir. The Romans HATED the last king they had (before Caesar's time) and these Senators (brave though murderous) did what they had to to protect their beloved Rome. If everything happened smoothly and gone the way they intended, they may have even rewrote history to make Caesar look evil.

  • j'ai vu le film ce week end et je l'ai trouvé éxcéllent

  • best salad ever!

  • vive caesar !

  • @Vampyreboy23 they were practically jealous of cesars powers who was about to receive the throne ... as cesar had no successor killing him would have ment the crowing of a new next powerful leader

  • @Vampyreboy23 he took almost all the power from the senate, but his nephew killed everyone that killed him

  • fuck u brutus

  • @Dunesnow

I actually can't stand the people who just ran away, instead of helping caesar..

  • @Vampyreboy23 Because they didn't know if he wanted power just to be powerful and have a dictatorship or to make Rome a better place and they were afraid of the first.
