another thing he mentioned was in a hybrid alot of voltage is found 300v compared to a normal 12 volts from a normal car.
You want to get over your fear of gettign shocked start the car pull out the spark plug wire and shock yourself(40kv-100kv) get over it, it bites and thats it, hybrids have high amps and thats what will kill you,a result from the DC to DC converter.
hybrids kill, First responders remember: dont use the jaws of life on the A-piller of a prius.

I just saw his show for the first time and i have to say it, he mentioned a dirty air filter will not affect fuel economy... if the air filter has a restriction, the engine will not be able to get enough air into the motor, the ltft will be enough to compensate for normal wear, but when it clogged to a point you see dirt, the check engine will light because the long term fuel trim percentage will be reducing fuel so much (-30%)so it run right that it detects a problem.

Oh, awesome! I hope you post these Pat Goss segments on a regular basis. I love "Motorweek" and Pat's my favorite part of that show. Please post more and often! Pat Goss teaches us so much! 5*****
One complaint about this video: The aspect ratio is incorrect and way off. The image is squashed downwards and everything looks fat and stout.
