Chanted by a Byzantine Bulgarian Choir (16 Member)
Director: Dimitar Dimitrov

Chanted during the Great Entrance of the divine liturgy of the Orthodox Church:

"Let us who mystically portray the Cherubim, and chant the thrice-holy hymn unto the life-creating Trinity, lay aside all earthly care, that we may receive the King of all, escorted invisibly by the angelic orders. Alleluia."

  • Can anybody write down the lyrics? It would be wonderful.

    What a sacred atmosphere!

Para que aprendan los 'cantores' aquí en España cómo se canta en la Divina Liturgia.

  • @vagos2006 I just found out, the word is French but is adopted and used in English too. It is very interesting, I looked in Wikipedia fo find the Greek word, but there was no Greek word for solfege, so probably this is why you don't know it :)

All I am asking is if you have the neums.

  • Totaly Byzantine, sung in Old Bulgarian ...beautiful :))

  • I would like you upload more chants from this BULGARIAN CHOIR. I have more than 1 year listening this piece, and it is very, very spiritual, very beautiful chant, but you only have 3 chants of this choir in your channel.

This piece is one of my favorites. Thanks a lot for all this music.

  • Is this typical Bulgarian ?

  • @Gunnarr123abc yes, unfortunatelly it couldn't be uploaded entirely, thats why it ends so abruptly....God bless you!
