  • First I would like to say thanks for the time and effort to put out yet another great video.

    Most Windows based computers have a scientific calculator that comes with Windows. Under the View menu button select Scientific. With the 10 deg 10 minute example you need to convert the minutes into a decimal. Deviding 10 by 60 to get 0.1666 then add the 10 deg and you get 10.1666. Now press the sine key to get the sine of 0.17651 x 5" and you get .8825

  • A 81 pc. shop grade gauge block set can now be purchased for appx $100.00 ! Chinsese of course !

  • I use the software called Mr. Machinist. It does these calcuations very easily. All you need to know is to enter your knowns.

  • I'd suggest a calculator available where school supplies are sold for a few dollars.
