Sudden Impact is the best Dirty Harry movie but it is my list favourite because it was too dark and the violence were graphic. I didn't like the scene where Harry gets badly beat up and I definately didn't like the rape scene. Out of all the 5 Dirty Harry movies Magnum Force is my all time favourite.

@Ebb1993isgreat Yes it is. Sudden Impact is the only Dirty Harry movie to have a vocal version of the famous theme music by Lalo Schifrin.

due to this amazing song, i was so impressed with the film. it left a sudden impact with me. the dirty harry character was so tender/humane with his woman lead. i love you roberta flack!!!!!
