Hey this is well outdated information.
Tyrosine is fully metabolized by MAOA inhibited by reversible inhibitors known as RIMA's, lengthening the experience. It is generally safe mixing these two, that is beta-carbolines and if anything that should have been mentioned was MAOI in conjunction with SSRI's, this is never EVER good. Nausea is caused by phytochemicals and can be extracted or filtered out.
Either way, you're gonna' get slammed.

I agree, inhaled DMT effects are so brief yet still deeply profound.
I've tried various etheogens; small amount of peyote and psilocybin (best cerebral experience) also I've experience MDMA (best full body experience) and LSD, but I have yet to try pure DMT.
It's been some years since I've experienced any psychotropic, mostly because I'm older and I'd rather have friends that will experience with me, but also DMT seems something more than just a trip from the personal accounts I've read.

Geez, sounds like Ayahuasca is a lot more dangerous than it needs to be. I would rather just smoke some DMT and have a blast then have to change my diet and what not so the MAOI's dont take my life or give me problems.

if you take ayahuaska with a bad mood or depress youl trip to hell WATCH UP!

I used 1 tablespoon Syrian rue together with 30-40 Phalaris Aquatica flower tops in a tea, sent me on a 10 hour trip.

one is supposed to not question their religious and government leaders. ever. they know what is best for you.
Aren't most of us not already addicted to drugs? Nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, antidepressants, pain killers, sedatives and these are legal! I'll bet that you use some drug or other on a regular basis and haven't even given one second of reflection.
And besides, what is it that one is supposed to achieve in life anyway?

I would like to put this out there strictly as a report for those debating ayahuasca because of the "MAOI diet". I personally don't eat meat other than fish and ate regularly until roughly a day until I took ayahuasca. During those 24 hours I didn't eat anything except a salad made of lettuce, spinach, carrots and tomatoes 2-3 hours before the trip. I didn't have any hypertension or any negative side effects other than the expected "la purga", which I always welcome in the ayahuasca experience.
