This conference was in 2007 probably before or at the begin fases of the financial crisis, America's economy is in slow recovery now.
Today it is China thats on the brink of facing a major real estate and stock bubble not the US.

@amcanmike Well Mike... I wish that were true but there are serious probs here that if we don't address we will no longer be America... we have already gone far dwon the slippery slope... but I have hope... we can get back to the Constitutional Free market system that works so well if we work at it. And yes ... we do live very well... and we help a lot of other countries live very well too... all the more reason we need ot be more conscientious.

Wow... thats an interesting hypothesis. Though pretty untenable by your description... which was a little difficult to follow. It is not illegal to won Gold and Silver in the US r most other Euro countries I am pretty sure. Fort (not ford) Knox is still full of gold and the US system is not based on Gold any longer so they can print all the money they want, which they are now doing. Please post a more clear argument for your position and I would be happy to discuss.
