@jpcfit The guy was a phenom, but he didn't allow himself to be the TRULY great player he could've been even Jerry Rice said it. It's a shame, the Pats tried to help him and did for the short period of time they could.

Although a Packer fan, Randy Moss was my favorite player, and it didn't bother me at all when he'd torch my team. Such a gifted athlete who could have been even better than he was had he known when to shut up...

or just how fast that man was??? you're making a complete fool of yourself even THINKING Moss would EVER cover 100m in 10 flat and on the DIRT TRACK Hayes did.
Hayes also ran the anchor leg of the 4X100 in 8.6 sec. and again on the same DIRT track. and in 1963 was the first man to run UNDER 6 sec in the 60 yd dash(he ran 5.9)

a man who ran a 10 flat 100m 47 years ago on DIRT and Randy ran a slow ass 10.94 in high school on a modern track(so an almost 11 flat you consider fast?) you are kidding right. 10.94-INSANE? lmao,hey don't do Randy any favors and stick up for him because you're making him out to be slower than HE would want you to.you do realize that if Randy even brought his best down to a 10.5 hayes'still smoke him by 7meters

@use2slam2 Hayes is fast but i doubt he would smoke MOSS (even sanders for that matter) MOSS is a FREAK athlete, moss ran a 10.94 in HIGHSCHOOL (THAT'S INSANE), moss got scouted for FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL and TRACK AND FIELD. Scouts said MOSS had WORLD CLASS speed...hayes dont even compare to MOSS athletically. Also it's proven athletes today are BIGGER, STRONGER AND FASTER. Your argument is a JOKE

this is why bob hayes WAS the fastest to EVER play in the nfl. these "fast" guys today alot of them have bests of 10.1-10.2 100m and these times were run on MODERN surface tracks. hayes ran 10.05 47 yrs ago on a shit loose wet dirt(yes dirt) track in tokyo. even darrell green and ron brown ran beats of 10.08 and again on MODERN surfaces, as for deion his best was a 10.24, which means hayes in his prime would have SMOKED him(and Moss)- BADLY !!!
