I haven't read these books myself so I had to go by descriptions of the book I could find. Hopefully I'm not terribly far off XD
For those who don't yet know, The Hunger Games is now a trilogy of science fiction novels concerning a not-too-distant future in which the United States has dissolved into warring factions. To punish an uprising the ruling powers take one girl and one boy from each rebel district and force them to fight to the death in a wilderness arena. Their struggles and deaths are televised to further the government's power and prestige, but this very fact may be the thing that saves the surprise duo of a boy and girl...drawn together by love.

Off with tiny bits panem isn't in war at all the goverment has complete control and in reality panem could possibly be the only bit of earth left.And the books take place centery's from now.

@bloodrunsclear I find the trailer for this to be better than the real one, and like the civil unrest moreso because honestly, if your grandparents etc were to tell you about how civillization was much more free than it is wouldn't you be upset? I never read the books so I don't know much about em and have already seen battle royale. and I obviously do think this is better than twilight but it's not my kind of thing as I'm a gamer and prefer the more mature work
