Well, Europa is a princess in Greek mythology, as well as the name for Europe in several languages, and an island in the Indian Ocean (I didn't go to Wikipedia shut up, you have no proof) But I'm pretty sure the game designers intended to take the English word Europe and change it a bit.

(Fun fact: Europa is also the smallest of the Galilean moons of the planet Jupiter.)
