i'll just give another of my opinions is that, bet you haven't or didn't play FFVII, bet you dont even know who's nobuo uematsu, bet you don't even know the square enix's old name. i can't understand how can you name yourself a FF fan, you already said that you hated or presently hate FFVII, 1 thing is that i dont hate any of the FF series and that, i just said that for me and for a lot of FF fan FFVII is the best, how can you hate a game that made transcend all the others FF games that came out

FFXII is my favorite game of all time even though it did have a strong resemblence to star wars' original trilogy. a pirate (balthier/han) a princess (ashe/leia) an unhuman co-pilot (Chewbacca/fran) a guardian (basch/obi)and protaganist (vaan/luke). Bahamut=death star, Gabranth=darth vader (redemtion at the end), and vayne=Darth Sidious. Idk about penelo though any suggestions?

If FFXII was not a final fantasy game but a different franchise it would've been way more popular. But because it is a final fantasy game it had to apeal to an audiance of girls, asian and jappanese kids who watch alot of anime and want thier characters to be extremely purky and unbelievably happy all the time (vanille, rikku selphie and yuffie etc) and don't care if the story was very childish and unmature but instead they got an epic game with a story that was both realistic and very enjoyable

i think the reason i preferred this game to all others was because it was the first one i ever played. i tried ffX-2 and i HATED the battle system with a passion.

this game was great, it wasnt better than 10 but it was still great If this game had the graphics of 13 then 12 will be better than 13 , 13 wasnt that good I really thought it was going to be great but it wasnt and now they wanna make 13-part2 wth

played it its a really cool game i just wish they would have added an additional fighting system with its own way of using weapons like jumping around dashing and enemy pop ups that scare the crap out of you with intense music still on the realistic side like on star wars battle front 2 with the assault map XD

@cloudetix Eep a reply on 1 year old comment. Um well that's fine of course. But like I said to everyone else in the past, if you felt it was boring, unneeded or w.e you wanna say, simply turn gambits off put it on ATB with highest speed and it can be a thrill. So long as you don't over level or get the very strong/strongest EQ too early. That's my opinion in the matter of course. I loved gambits because in long grinding or farming sessions, it just made things more bearable really.

i hate this ffXII this game has a an okay battle system and an some okay story line. but the game makers need to under stand that game ply is not every thing. the story was not strong enough, that is why it didn't have the same impact that FFx, VII, and VII have. IN the case of final fantasy the Battle system is the last thing u want to make realistic. some time its better to leave the fantasy to the players.

Look just because cloud aries an tifa get all the glory don mean shet ok I can make a 100 different stories just about those three characters. and yes 12 is 1 of the better FF of our time, but at FF7's time it was on top of the charts. And FF7 Had A REAL good story line. Thats why they made advent children, because FF7 was a best seller.

i finished this game last 3 years.This game is the 4th final fantasy that i finished ( VII, IX and X). Well, among them all, this is the best. Because of its graphics and gameplay. I was really addicted to this. But I dont fancy its story, FFVII FFVII FFX is the best FF story for me. And FF Crisis Core, if it hasn't for Zack, Cloud would not be just like him.

@EricksonTheFullMetal Hey, I've been playing the FF games for more than 10 years and played almost all of them and absolutely hated FFVII. Just because you've played a lot of there games and you think in order to be a fan of the series you have to think VII is the best doesn't make you a fan of FF, but an egotistical brat who has nothing more to do then act like he's the biggest fan boy in the world. Don't be such a douche.
