Eight Year Old singing 'Notice Me Horton' from Seussical the Musical to her stuffed Webkinz Elephant she fondly calls 'Horton', June 2006...I personally think the stuffed elephant does an excellent job in this clip!

She's a great singer and acting, but don't belt it out yet. I'm professionally trained, if you belt it out to much, it can do permanent damage to your vocal cords. But it was a great job!

@PopMusicRox28 Thanx PopMRox.. u r right about belting at an early age and proper vocal technique need be encouraged!!!! My daughter is now 12 and we are lucky enough to be working with a fantastic instructor (one of the best) in NYC who is helping her to achieve the skills necessary for Operatic competition and future studies. Meanwhile she has a featured Broadway Musical credit under her belt & is loving life! :)

you are all very sweet! thanks for the generous comments.. Annabelle appreciates them very much. to update those of you who have asked, yes she does do this professionally.. she is currently performing 8 Xs a week in a Broadway musical and loving every minute of it :))

Oh wow, be careful. She's great, but unless she's maturing super-fast, her vocal chords aren't fully developed... Belting and screaming at such a young age can cause permanent damage. =/

Being so strong now is awesome for her, she's a great actress too, and I'm sorry if I seem like I'm raining on parades, but it's a bit of a red flag to see young children belting out songs that were written for trained musicians. Obviously I don't know her whole story, though, so I could be totally wrong.

Shes fantastic. Shes my age now maybe? Maybe a little younger.. But i did this when i was her age. All the time. But it was with all the disney songs. I would make my mom record me :)
