I'd say you should make blocking bets of 1/5th or 1/4th of the pot. Usually helps me because sometimes you even fold out hands that have you beat like a top pair with no kickers because it seems that you really want them to call. Usually makes people weary if you donkbet with sums that's really begging for a call.

Blocking bets can also be good for when you have draws, and you want to be able to draw to them cheaply. If you think your opponent would bet about 75% of the pot if you checked, but call if you bet 40% of the pot, then throwing out a blocking bet would be perfect here.

Blocking bets can actually be the most +EV play in some situations as opposed to check/calling, check/folding, larger bet/folding, or larger bet/raising.

I like this video and when I heard blocking bet I half expected to see real bad bets on rivers. However due to the boards and size of bets he plays them really well. However a few of these I feel he could of bet more and were not even situations to be worried about other hands that could beat him. I question a few if he could have made more value.

Cause that is just asking to be reraised
