Bella the Blue Tongue Skink vs. Mouse

Bella the Fella - our blue tongue skink - enjoys the occasional pinky mouse with his meal. This time was rather gruesome, but shows the incredible strength of the blue tongue skink's jaw. This video is not for the squeamish or young children. Don't mind the poop on the basking rock, it got cleaned up right after the meal. Enjoy!

That mouse was probably dead from the first bite, the twitching was from the nerves firing. The white thing looked like the stomach full of milk.

Very cool vid! Quick question, I have a juvenile Skink. I've had for about four days now. Today was the first time I noticed it defecated-first time it defecated in its tank and was wondering why there was a whitez-mucus-discharge on the poop? Thanks.
