Pendant les années 1970 Haikara est considéré comme la principale formation de prog finlandais avec les Wigwam et Tasavallan Presidentti, mais à la différence de ces groupes, Haikara a été quelque peu oublié dans les années 80 et 90 ! Ce qui est bien dommage !

The songs of Haikara were written by Vesa Lattunen (here on guitar/back-up vocals) and "Wellu" Lehtinen (lyrics). Even though singing on the first album, Wellu left Haikara to re-join his old band Charlies, before the pre-release. On this TV performance it´s Vesa´s sister Auli singing. I saw Haikara live a few times in those days but can´t remember seeing Auli perorm. I lived close to TV (bass) and hung out in his basment at rehersals. Heard this LP for first time in his home. I´m lucky, yes.
