This is me Ronny V testing out my new drumkit while it is connected to my midi interface so i can play around with loops that i made in reason.
I trigger the loops but using the rimms of the toms the second tom and the Bell of the 1st crash. I also programmed this user drumkit, and i even swiched to another drumkit for a sec lol :D

alltough i just started drumming for a few weeks again after 10 years of not drumming i must say that i didn't go bad at all, except for a few mistakes ;)

Greetz!

  • Hey man, I just bought a MIDI to USB cable. When connected to reason it seems to have like a 1 second lag and Redrum doesn't seem to set all channels correctly so I have to manually set. Is there a way of setting it up so that it doesn't lag? Cheers mate, nice work

  • Well maybe your soundcard isn't good enough for low latency. I use an Audigy 2 with KX project drivers.

I never used the redrum with my td-6 so i don't know what channels it uses. I allways use Combinator or NNXT drumkits.

  • hey man!! so if i use the alesis trigger i/o i can use the reason software like if that was the module? thank4postin cool videos:)

  • Yep... you sure can!

  • so you`r just usin reasson and thats all:O? not any other software? just reason and your midi interfaz with your module? no ezdrummer or other? thanks :)!! gorgeous loops

  • yep...

  • Wow!! Nice playing dude!!

I have TMC-6 Roland Module that has limited number of trigger inputs! So how did you do to trig/switch different drumkit during playing?? Can I trigg different drum part (instrument) inside Redrum drumkit????

Please, this is annoying me so much!

    Thanks!

  • Wow man I hope you have decided to keep playing

    and making music!

You have obvious musical talent beyond great drumming

Don't give it up again ok?

    :)

  • Nice vid. I have the TD-3 and use Reason but can't get the original TD-3 sounds at all. Any ideas? I can use the drums to trigger the Redrum sounds for example but that means no cymbal muting or hi-hat pedal usage!! Any ideas?

  • anyone selling a Roland Td-6 with mesh snare please message me.

  • Ahh ok. KX project drivers? Is this updating the USB drum drivers? How do you set each pad to the keys in NNXT? Cheers mate :)
