Walkera CREATA 400 short flight with fatal crash ending.

Short flight with my Walkera CREATA 400 ending in a crash with some serious damage. It can and will be fixed and should be ready for the next flight by early June 2009. Stay tuned.

@cante199: That was simply my mistake. That time I was still new to that hobby and could not control the heli in all directions (nose in + tail in + tail left/right). So, as soon as the tail turned I just lost it .... and bang ..... down it went. The good part is, I never crashed that heli again since then. And the lessen I learned from there was to practice hovering in all directions before attempting something else.

Well well.. ive been there done that..

ive crashed all my helis in the learning process CREATA400, WALKERA60B, WALKERA CB100... even thow its painfull to smash the heli its still great fun..and the rebuild is fun to , atleast for me.

even a fully learned heli rc pilot crashes.

we all do... it only takes a second of not focus and BAM! CRASH!

Yes, fully agree with you. I do like the rebuilding as well. Its all about understanding the hobby we all love. Of course I try to avoid to crash and it has been going rather fine for some time now.

Thanks for your comments. Actually I have two CREATA 400 now and both are back and flying again. The one I had crashed in the video is already fixed. The CREATA 400 is good for getting a first impression for beginners, however I still believe that the ALIGN Trex 450 helis are a better choice; at least for me :)

creata 400: fly very nice, but don't crash it....  repair is a pain..... damn but i love that heli...

@matli1965 hovering is ever a really smart school for use an heli.. :) nose control is quite hard to learn but when u get it the flyes become really safe and funny imho
