Calming change-up sequence to sun salutation, chandra namaskar based on Kripalu series with commentary.
Personalized version with minor modifications for smoother flow.

Kripalu tradition moon salutation was created in 1984 by 4 senior female staff to complement the familiar sun salutation while honoring women's bodies & rhythms in feminine expression.

  • beautifully done.

a friend of mine wrote her thesis on that series and taught it as a weekly class. i always wanted to ask why Ardha Chandrasana wasn't included....ie, instead of trikonasana.

  • @ZeBeFruity

is ardha chandrasana (half moon balance) considered a partial inversion to avoid during female monthly cycle??? dunno

your idea to include hmb.makes perfect sense to me! (i like, next time will adapt & add posture on)

    ;-))
