@tj5663 That's the one, I loved it I vaguely remember one episode where he is accused of murdering a couple of other knights. Brilliant and thanks didn't know it was so old. But it must have been repeated as I only remember it in colour and we never had a colour TV until the 70s.

this series dragged on all through the summer hols during the early seventies, nothing seemed to happen save for a few sword fights and 5 cannons taking a few hopeful shots at the biggest castle in the world every week !! Robinson Crusoe was a lot better : )
