Obama becoming new Jimmy Carter - Newt Gingrich on Stimulus

No taxes for 6 months would equal $ amount in the Stimulus Package. What could be better? In tough times, you and I do not spend more money, we stop and save. The idea of no taxes for 6 months would stop income to the government BUT it prevents our taxes being used to pay for the pork filled package as it stands today. Instead of the government spending money it does NOT have (it's our future taxes) - if there was no tax for six months the American people WOULD spend money that they now DO have....... now that would be stimulus.

There's a difference between capitalism and what we have going on in the country now. The corporatists are winning, and they are sucking our country dry. We have to get out of the wars and into OUR recovery. We need to start spending in local shops buying local products to increase our communities ability to survive and help other communities near them. Everyone should start up a new business, in an old fashioned grassroots way, not in the new age of Finance and Debt.

Now you've hit something that I can agree with. One point where I wanted some action was the Bush Administration (the Bush Criminals) to be investigated. The only thing that has been investigated so far was whether we had bin Laden and let him go. The investigation shows we did. The faster we can bring our troops home the better. This administration is taking the same exact steps that the city of Detroit and the State of Michigan have taken. Nancy Pelosi and the rest of congress sound like a recording of Gov. Jennifer Granholm when she took office 7 years ago.
