On days of inclement weather - overcast, stormy/pre-front/pre-storm days - at about 4:45 thousands upon thousands of Tree Swallows fly in from all directions. They congregate for a while, fly around, etc. and then right before dark they dive back into the cane field.
The quality of this video isn't the best, but it's not bad for a still camera.

few days ago I saw a small group of swallows flying like this too, and it was during a cold, drizzly and very windy day. They were kind of showing off their ability to fly at a very fast speed flying above a lake and inches away from my face on a leafy are! They were nuts!
