These sequences reflect young Al Jolson first steps into the world of entertainment. The voice of this young singer is melodic and very pleasant and relaxing to listen. For many of us, I believe, this was the best part of the movie. Among others young Al Jolson sings the following melodies: On the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away; By the Light of the Silvery Moon; Ave Maria; When You Were Sweet Sixteen. The actor is Scotty Beckett & the person doing the singing is Rudy Wissler (Thanks to tonski79) Had to resubmit the video for improved quality.
