yes you are alive and yes the time is now, but the i am that you are claiming is just the ability to claim what you are, I AM angry, or I AM holy, or I am me or whatever context/ word you put after the I am is just you saying I am this and therefore I am aware of me and my behavior and from that awareness you can now proceed to act and behave and do anything you choose. its really simple after awhile, but hard to grasp at first.

'tis not as easy as JUST muttering or stating to oneself the phrase "I AM". You have to meditate regularly on that as Nisargadatta said.

Ive noticed this, and it's very subtle, i i, very hard to put into words, behind the voice in the head "i"... is just existing, sometimes it is strong, other times not so much...when i catch it, i feel it in my solar plexus and chest area, almost like the feeling you get going down a hill on a roller coaster, it's the same king of loosing your breath sensation but more subtle, it's feels like love, but a new kind of love.
