  • Doesn't sound right without a Fender and EMGs.

  • Actually, Australian PF don't use EMG.

  • Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty damn good. Though, I wonder why they don't use EMGs?

  • Well, I guess that they want to nail more songs of Pink Floyd, I mean the era of Dogs, Pigs an Walls ;) Emg would let them play last two albums only. This is the point but I might be wrong. Anyway, this soloing guitarist plays there only as a guest. This is a video from the North American Tour.

  • this guys copy the studio version too much . they need to put in their own flair. all their shows sound like the original cd's recoreded with aussie vocals.

  • These guys are very very good! Only thing not completly great is the vocals...He actually sounds like a German trying to speak english...And THAT is funny `cause these guys are from Australia....THEY speak English %-(...I just don`t understand it...

  • They are NO cover band. These guys are the ultimate TRIBUTE band. All cover band wish they could be these guys.

  • Why the fuck would I want to listen to a covers band. Not bad though, but no thanks.

  • @jvandle Gilmour didn't use a strat for On the Turning Away.. well - live he did, but not in the studio version.

  • hate to say it i have seen the real thing twice if i went to see them i would just think how much i miss richard and the boys

  • @jvandle

the guy does not want to play a Strat for a reason, he wants to express himself through Pink Floyd's songs not just play for you to say he sounds like Dave down to his Strat, he tried to play the solo as close as he could but he also improvised .

  • It's good but Not the same with out Dave Gilmoor

  • i have a 1989 Fender Srat Plus in blue with EMG SL20 with Maple fretboard and it does cut through the mix..no other pickups can do that and i've played lot of guitars , they did a good job in my opinion but true the performance needed a Strat

  • @jvandle David played this song on his black strat in 2006 and I think it sounded pretty good
