This brings back memories. My grandparents had a restaurant at this location (Victor's Cafe) from the late thirties until they retired in the mid-fifties. Zero Manufacturing purchased the property in 1960 and erected the large wall that is still there. Zero Corp let my grandparents live there for five years for one dollar a year until the building was torn down in July 1965. Now it's a parking lot....Lots of good memories in old Burbank.......

Ha ha, this place. I thought this place was no longer in use. I though this line was part of the old SP RR line that they got rid of for the Orange Line. That sucks so bad that they got rid of that RR line, I live in the very spot of the Orange Line.

I've never seen a train on this track ever even when i lived there.

Thanks, Do you think the saugus local also go to the stock lumber? I saw the saugus train with unpatched - SSW unit this Wed.
It was certainly a rare thing back then when I saw it - now lately I almost never see trains at Stock.

The Chandler Bikeway officially opened to the public on August 20, 2004. The original SP tracks extends west of Victory Blvd and ends at Mariposa St. As far as I know the Wye is still active serving Stock Lumber, but do not see the locals like I used to.Time was you could catch them between 1-2 pm. I suspect they are switching much later in the evening. 10pm? What I was pleased about this video, was you could almost imagine what the Coast line would have been like 10-15 years earlier.
