drag racing my cbr1000rr at ABQ dragway. Elevation 5002 ft and high temperatures for that day were 52-58 degrees F. Averaged 10.9 seconds at 134MPH. With more practice I'm confident I'll be able to get down to 10.5 at 137MPH (these videos were my beginning runs).

  • Keep up the practice, do you know about clutch less shifting?

Where you pull up on the shifter as you hold the gas steady, and when its time to shift, let off the gas while holding steady pressure up on the shifter, and it shifts just fine... its perfectly ok for the transmission as well... get some decent practice in before giving it hard, and maybe messing it up... that might help your time as well...

  • @kebkid7888 ya thanks for the input. I was actually clutchless shifting the entire time, it works well but I think its simply my takeoff. The bike has too much power, if I give it too much it peels out and if not enough it boggs out. My best bet would be to extend my swingarm so I can give it my all without peeling out because I'll be able to sit without doing a wheelie.

  • who won?

  • @danthegomes CBR won

  • Thanks For Making The Video. Have A Good Ride.

  • I did a 10.4 on a standard 08 fireblade.

  • Ah se eu pudesse, meu dinheiro desse

  • Do you know any good places for riding around Albuquerque? I just picked up my 1krr and have been looking for good places to ride. Too bad I got it at the end of the season.

  • @gdklonis when she boggs down slip the clutch to get the revs up try it because i do it alot with my 2 strokes because of there low torque

  • @gdklonis

    Or a detachable wheelie bar?
