Jon, as well as frontman Michael, were the subject of many a girls fantasies. A handsome but shy man Jon craved anonymity and in the 80's he moved to Hong Kong where he shared a house with Michael. He had the time alone he longed for. Tim summed it up this way, "Jon gets it (attention from girls) more in America, and he doesn't particularly like it because he's a serious musician."
