It the Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe.
Roger Mayer was jimi's effects guy from 1966 - 1969
He either built or modded all of jimi effects and amps for him

Did you see the rainbow bridge? Then you'll know that its not that version. The rainbow bridge version is a slow, very slow non distortion version.

yep, i meant the version on the soundtrack album. its different from the one in the film
the film was on maui i believe. the version on the soundtrack album is similar to this.

Thanks, The guitar is a fender stratocaster played through a voodoo vibe univibe. The amp is a mArshall Plexi 50 watt head going into
a 4x12 marshall cab.
