You say that because the Wings have had more skill on their teams during the past 22 years than most teams, including yours, have had since they started! Plus, the Wings have shown the world how to win year in and year out.

I love ducks and redwings playoff series, the small rivalry that has developed is really fun to watch.

Also, if you take out ALL Original 6 teams, The #1 team would be Edmonton with 5 cup wins (84, 85, 87, 88, 90). No other team not O6 has more than 5 cup wins, and only the Islanders have 4 (80, 81, 82, 83). The Wings have 4 recent (97, 98, 02, 08). Even if you want to talk post 67 expansion, Montreal has 10 (68, 69, 71, 73, 76, 77, 78, 79, 86, 93). Sorry bud, but you lack evidence to even back up your claim

Or you know, 4 cup wins, 1 cup loss (so 5 cup appearances in the last 15 years), and a record of 783-348-97-84 (W-L-T-OTL) during those years... It's pretty simple to say the Wings are probably the best hockey franchise of the last 25 years, and looking for their 22nd straight playoff appearance.
